Variable Prices, Components

Contains controls used to specify a variable price for the component.

Setting	Description
Variable Price Control	Use this option menu to select the type of price control. The available options are: Fixed unit price. Variable unit price per piece. Variable unit price for total quantity.
Price	Sets High, Medium, and Low prices for the component. The High component price setting and Small component quantity setting are used to plot the first point along the Quantity/Price curve, which displays in preview box. The Medium component price setting and Medium component quantity setting are used to plot the second point along the Quantity/Price curve, which displays in preview box. The Low component price setting and Large component quantity setting are used to plot the third point along the Quantity/Price curve, which displays in preview box. Note: To enter correct values in the Price fields, define a matrix with unit prices per quantity first. The matrix defines a curve from which 3 fixed values can be selected.
Quantity/Price preview box	The Quantity/Price curve displays here. Price and Quantity settings are used to compute the curve, which dynamically updates.
Unit Price	Displays the computed unit price of this component.
Quantity	Sets Small, Medium, and Large quantities for the component. The Small component quantity setting and High component price setting are used to plot the first point along the Quantity/Price curve, which displays in preview box. The Medium component quantity setting and the Medium component price setting are used to plot the second point along the Quantity/Price curve, which displays in preview box. OK	Applies changes and dismisses the dialog.
Cancel	Discards changes and dismisses the dialog.
